I love the idea of color blocking. Bright, fun, and can be dressed up or down but you always make a statement. You know my love for orange and these two colors are right up there. if it's trendy to break the rules and wear them together, i'm all for it!

High waisted summers
so i absolutely love the high waisted shorts that are out for the summer. they have been around forever but this summer they are as trendy as ever and I for one am in total agreement. The whole purpose is to make your legs look nice and long so remember to always wear heals when attempting this look. gorgeous!

summers products that make life a little easier
Let's start by saying i love hair and makeup. Not only do it professionally, i also love it as a lifestyle. However, sometimes I admit i get a little lazy. I don't always wear much makeup and the top knot is my best friend when it comes to fast hairstyles. I have found a few products that i love when i need a quick fix and im feeling the lazy bug coming on.
The Five Second Facial. Get the results of a luxe, spa facial (almost!) with speedy, swipe-on pads that help exfoliate, clear up breakouts, and repair skin with anti-oxidants. They also give you a little glow, like you might've just had a scrub or steam.

The Package Deal. Go for a moisturizer, anti-aging product, SPF, and foundation in one with a lightweight, tinted moisturizer. It saves time, keeps you protected, and gives you coverage.

Get a Do-It-All, Eco-Friendly Face Moisturizer. If you like to be green, this super-affordable, organic option works as a face moisturizer for both morning and night, removes eye makeup (just wipe it off), and can work as a frizz-buster on hair.
RMS Raw Coconut Cream, $18, available at Spirit Beauty Lounge.

Red Alert. Fast track your look by applying a bold lip color—a classic shade of intense, highly pigmented red will do the trick. And, while gloss is more foolproof than lipstick (and easier to apply without a mirror), you can dab lipstick on with your finger to help avoid mistakes on the fly.
Topshop Lip Gloss Stick in Ablaze, $16, available at Topshop

Play Up Your Eyes. Without a doubt, a coat of good black mascara will make your eyes pop. But if you're not one for eyelash curlers or layering (you're not alone), pick a super-black mascara with curling properties, and you're good to go.
Dior Diorshow Iconic High Definition Lash Curling Mascara, $28, available at Dior.

No eyeshadow? No problem! Get the natural-yet-made up look in a snap: Use a gold or nude lip gloss as eyeshadow for a quick, neutral pick-me-up. Note: Avoid using lippies with plumping ingredients!
Urban Decay Lip Love Honey-Infused Lip Therapy in Taunt, $16, available at Sephora; Armour Beauty Shimmer Gloss in Stardust, $21, available at Armour Beauty.

Go Bushy. As shown on the fall runways, bold, thick brows are back. So, if you're in the growing-out-stage or don't want to deal with constant pruning, try using a double-sized brow highlighting pencil that has both a shimmering and matte option (the matte is more for everyday wear). Run it along the underside of your brows, from just below the arch to the end, to help brighten and open up your eyes (and de-emphasize any stray hairs).

orange is my new favorite color
At least for this season. i will say i started wearing orange over springtime, but i just can't seem to let it go. Rich mango, persimmon, ripe pumpkin—however you slice it, bold orange was one of spring's sweetest color trends. And whether paired with white at Marc Jacobs or with bad-girl booties at Chris Benz, this intense shade feels fresh once again.

the art of undercutting
I love this haircut. i've had it now for a year as of July and I can't decide if i want to grow it out and try something different or make it my staple. I might just have to mull it over for another couple months and rock it further.
I love this cut because you can be long and soft, total punk, a little of both. its your secret you can show or hide it. These are a few examples of what you can do with your undercut. For more examples, visit http://fuckyeahundercuts.tumblr.com/.

I am so inspired by the short architectural cuts. The colors and cuts work so well together to create a perfect frame for you face. Not to mention you have a cut like this all of a sudden crazy colors like pink and blue look normal and fashionable. You can create a palette of color that plays up your natural coloring, or just run away with your favorite color. I love the inspiration!

Karlie Kloss: Vogue China May 2011
How fun is this haircut? I assume it is probably an adorable wig cut into style for the shoot, but i would definitely cut my hair in this style. i love the dark too, gives it a very 20's inspired choppy bob. love love love
